Now that you have the Pomegranate seeds out what can you do with them?

Well eat them of course they are delicious but while you are snacking make a vinaigrette, Wait until you see how beautiful the pom juice looks on a salad. So….Here we go!
What you need:
1/4 to 1/2 C. Olive Oil (good quality)
3 Tbls white wine vinegar  (if not apple cider vineg or champagne vineg)
1/4 pomegranate juice (you can use the store bought one if you have too)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C. honey
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (or red pepper flakes just foe a little kick)
1/8 tsp fresh cracked pepper ( use as much as you like)
What you do:

put about a 1/4 cup of the pomegranate seeds (if you don’t know how to get them out roll to the previous blog for the seed removal)
use a big spoon, I like the one with holes in it but any will work. Just be aware they will splatter so don’t do this it a nice white dress on your way out to a party 🙂
press down and the seeds will release the juice until you have about a 1/4 cup
In a bowl big enough to whisk in, put in all the ingredients except the olive oil. and whisk
slowly add in the olive oil while whisking to thicken the dressing.
This will not thicken as much as a regular dressing does because of all the juice but it is still spectacular
I know, easy, semeesey go crazy and do this with other juices and you will be the vinaigrette king or queen of your house hold!!

Then throw a few seeds on the salad to make it look so pretty and spoon over the dressing. Then put the leftovers in a jar ( like mason jars I found at the hardware store) and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks, If you have time marinate a chicken with this OMG YUM!!

I have more great ideas to come so keep looking and I appreciate the support & kind words from my fellow bloggers, What a great group of people 🙂
